Sixth Annual Hip Joint Course, Baltimore

Sixth Annual Hip Joint Course

The 2011 Hip Joint Course was an extremely successful event with 180 attendees from 19 countries and 25 states in the U.S. The conference brought together the world leaders in hip joint preservation and reconstruction for a combination of didactic presentations, focused discussions, and hands-on cadaveric labs. Our faculty lectured on topics such as new surgical approaches, bearing surfaces, standard and resurfacing hip arthroplasty options, treatment options for femoroacetabular impingement, and avoiding complications. Participants attended two afternoon cadaveric lab sessions that featured expert-led, hands-on training in arthroscopy of the hip, anterior approach with and without navigation, resurfacing and preoperative templating magnification and digital planning.

We thank our corporate sponsors, faculty, publishing department and volunteers for making this course possible. Please continue to check this web site for information about the 6th Annual Hip Joint Course to be held in 2012.
