 IAS 2010 - Cadaveric Hands On Workshop - Parel, Mumbai.
Date: 27th February, 2010.
Venue: Seth G.S. Medical College & K.E.M. Hospital, Parel, Mumbai.

The event will be Organised by Sport Medical Unit Department of Orthopaedics.
Course Modules :
Basic arthroscopy cadaveric hands on workshop on knee and shoulder.

Knee :
Familiarization with arthroscopy equipment.
Diagnostic arthroscopy of the knee.
Removal of a loose body.
Lateral retinacular release.
Meniscectomy.
Learn basics of ligament reconstruction.
Synovectomy.
Arthrolysis.

Shoulder :
Familiarization with arthroscopy equipment.
Diagnostic arthroscopy of the shoulder, glenohumeral joint, and subacromial space.
Identify intra-articular structures, pathology, and anatomic variations.
Removal of loose bodies.
Steps of arthroscopic subacromial decompression.
Stiff shoulders .

IAS 2010 - 9th IAS Annual Conference - Chennai
Date: 25th to 28th September 2010.
Venue: Chennai.

We have proposed to conduct the IAS 2010 from the 25th to 28th September 2010 at Chennai.
The conference will be held in the temple town of Mahaballipuram with the venue on the shores of the Bay of Bengal!

Thursday 25th September- 2.00 PM Start with 2 to 3 Panel discussions or debates or Instructional course lectures by Indian and invited foreign faculty. This will be followed by a short inaugural function.

Friday 26th September - 8.00 AM start - All day operations of most sports surgeries.

Saturday 27th September - 8.00 AM start - All day scientific session

Sunday 28th September - 9.00 AM start and 1.00 PM finish
